We have an increasingly older population that is relatively healthy. However, in the reality of a mobile society, there is often no extended family to provide the required support that enables individuals to maintain an engaged and comparatively independent lifestyle. At best the responsibility for the required support may lie with overburdened family members in the "sandwich generation”; creating anxiety and stress for all involved.

Neighbours’ Mission Statement is to provide, maintain and promote a vital connection between those seeking non- medical, affordable family / companion styled support care for themselves or a loved one and mature, empathetic, caring individuals willing and able to provide the support required.

Neighbours’ objective is to promote the type of support a caring family member would provide if they were in the position to do so.
